ABOUT

The ancient city of Patara, which has great historical and archaeological importance, has survived for centuries because it is the only place in the Xanthos Valley that can open to the sea. Since 1988, excavations have continued in the city and many structures have been unearthed. The city, which continues many projects as well as excavations, is of great importance in terms of cultural tourism.
